Articles are to be sent by means of the Open Journal System (OJS) on the journal’s web pages.

Information for working with the OJS
On the journal’s web pages you will find the tab For authors linking to Entering a paper in the OJS.  By clicking on this link the author will be directed to the Open Journal System pages, i.e. the journal’s editorial system.
If the user is using this system for the first time, they need to click on the Registration field at the top. The system allows them to choose a user name and password and fill in the additional information required.  If they are already registered in the system, they select Login in the toolbar. After logging in to the system, texts can be entered and the following procedures can be followed (whether and when the text is sent for review, comments by the reviewer and the editor-in-chief, etc.). If they register as both an author and as a reviewer, they can take part in reviews for the journal.
The procedure to enter a text is as follows: clicking on the field Author displays Start a New Paper in the middle of the page with a blue clickable link. The author must go through five steps for the text to be sent to the editorial office for processing.
Part of the process of sending a paper, is the requirement for the author and co-authors to check the box that confirms that their paper is in accordance with all of the following items.  The paper has not been published anywhere else (in the first step, before entering the paper and annexes, the author must check the declaration of the work’s originality), the file is in the required format, the text corresponds to the stylistic requirements specified in the instructions How to Write a Manuscript? In the third step it is further necessary to fill in the information about conflicts of interest:
a) The authors declare he they have no potential conflicts of interest concerning drugs, products, or services used in the study.
b) The authors have conflicts of interest with: ___________________________________________________________________ (please fill in).

The manuscript is sent to the reviewers if the paper’s focus is in line with the journal’s scope and the level of the written text is in line with that of a professional journal. Each manuscript (except messages, communications, reviews and correspondence) is assessed in a review process (peer review), whilst maintaining mutual anonymity (the author, however, can propose three external examiners of the work). For the manuscript to be published the editorial board requires positive evaluations from two evaluation experts. If the reviews are controversial, another independent review is sought, or the executive editorial board decides.
Prior to the final print the publishing house sends the paper to the authors in a pdf file for a proofread pursuant to CSN 88 0410. It is necessary to strictly uphold the deadline for returning the author’s proofreading to the editor responsible for each issue.
